Concrete Cutting Demonstration
As part of ONEN’s ongoing effort to improve the walkability of our neighborhood, we have invited Precision Concrete Cutting (PCC) to come to our neighborhood to provide a demonstration of their concrete cutting technique. They use a patented “precision cutting technique” that is different than grinding. They are based in Denver and would like to show us how they can provide a quick, clean and cost effective alternative to replacing sidewalks. This is the process that was used a few years ago by the city on some of our uneven neighborhood sidewalks. They still do a significant amount of work for city but not in our neighborhood.

Thanks to all that came out on Monday 11/19 to see this. Sorry that the demo did not happen. The crew thought that a demo they did for a neighbor last week was the same event and did not realize we were still expecting them. They sincerely apologize for the mix up and are going to come on Thursday Nov 29th to show us their stuff. Please join us on November 29th at 4:00 PM at 1338 N. Weber St. to see the demonstration. The entire process takes about 20 minutes so don’t be late. The representatives from Precision Concrete Cutting will be available to provide handouts and answer any questions you have on the process
If you can’t make it to the demonstration, but think PCC might be able to help you repair your sidewalks, please contact them and mention that you live in the Old North End Neighborhood. There may be a discount available if enough neighbors are interested and they are able to service several homes during the same trip.
